Rainbow Swirl wandered about the town. Shed hidden her wings and made them invisible, but she hadnt been sure it would work so she had a pretty silver shawl draped over her back. Swirl looked around the different shops, then saw a dark green male pony watching her. She told herself he was looking behind her.
Tangled Vine watched the little pony. So... his spell had worked!! He turned away, hed have to test it soon. And the other one, the cat pony. Omen, that was it. He wasnt planning on releasing that spell any time soon. If Omen wanted to spy on another being, hed have to do it in his pony form.

FireLight sighed and walked into a shop full of sweets. She had no money but she loved to look at them and smell their candy smell.

Tangled Vine saw the other one, the pegasus. He watched her for a second, then gaze turned to the pony he had cursed. Then, almost as suddenly as he had come, he disappeared.
Swirl shuddered.

"Ha! Tag!! Can't catch me!" A little foal's voice rang out over the street followed by another's frusterated plea.
"Hey, Come on, no cheating!"
Beating their little, translucent wings, two flutter ponies seemed to be chasing each other in the air over the town. They zig and zag around buildings, flying faster than before. They looked more like colored blurs than they looked like any kind of pony, but it was possible to catch a glimpse of them for a second. One of them laughed at the other, gaining more distance than before, this time flying so low that the pony was almost skimming the ground.
The one chasing the other, dove down from above in an attempt to tackle the other. "Now I gotcha!" he yelled as he neared the other. Just before the pony hit, his target ducked out of way and the poor pony tried to stop but ended up crashing smack into a wall. "Oof!"
Stopping in mid air to hover, the target let out a laugh. "You totally missed."
Upsidedown, on his head, against the wall, the other little flutter pony tried to right himself. "Ow..." He did a summersalt and sat up. "Obviously.." he added as his friend giggled.
Landing now, one could see his colors clearly. He was a white and burnt sienna, pinto, flutter with fairly long yellow hair. The boy tried to be serious. "Are you ok?" he asked, trying not to laugh, his yellow hair threatening to cover his dark brown eyes.
The flutter, who had crashed, carefully checked his delicate wings first, making sure they were not broken. Then he checked his white and dark sienna, pinto body. He was a little bruised but not seriously hurt. He looked back at the other flutter through his greenish grey eyes, his yellow ochre mane and tail looking a bit frizzled. "I think I'm ok."
His friend stuck out his chest with pride. "Buckwheat, I told you, you can't catch me." he announced with a wide grin.
Buckwheat rose to his shakey feet. "That's because you cheat, Brushfire." he retorted.
"Do not." the little flutter frowned then he gave a smile and poked the other in the chest with a hoof. "YOU just can't fly as fast as me. "
Buckwheat was about to say something, in retort, but stopped when saw the two other ponies. He elbowed Brushfire. "Look."
The flutter turned and looked at the pony that looked kinda like a flutter but wasn't, and her...friend...? Both boys said nothing. They just stood there watching the other two.

FireLight spun around to watch thegame between two fillys. One crashed and then they suddenly started looking at her and Swirl. She looked back at them. Not knowing what to do.

Rainbow Swirl looked back at the boys. So... they thought she was a flutter...
She peaked under the shawl. Nope, the fairy wings were still visible. She quickly turned and walked behind a corner. Sliding off the shawl, she stretched her blue fairy wings gratefully, forgetting to keep watch to see if any others saw her. Once more she thought, she closed her eyes and concentrated. When she opened them again, she looked back at her wings. Nope, still visible.
OK, so that ment she couldnt hide the fairy wings, fly OR do anything else with them. What was going on??

FireLight continued to look at the boys. She flew up into the air to get a better look a them. Her wings fluttered as she rose higher to get an airel(SP!?!?!?!?) view of them.

The boys stayed silent, watching the two girls. One was a pegasus, a white filly with orange and red hair. She seemed pretty typical. Buckwheat glanced at her for a second then gazed at the other, tilting his head, watching her disappear around the corner. Was she scared? The flutter colt didn’t know. She looked like him and his brother but at the same time, not like him and his brother. His eyes traveled back to Brushfire, who stood there just as silently as his twin. But he didn’t seem too interested in the two fillies. With a sigh, Brushfire rolled his eyes. “Uh… you’re it, STILL.” He said, emphasizing the last word.
Buckwheat, watched the pegasus try to get an aerial view of himself and his twin. The flutter pony colt lifted his head skyward, his silken yellow ochre hair fell back on the ridge of his neck and withers. His translucent, sparkling, rainbow wings glittered as the light caught them. From where he stood, the pegasus looked almost his size. Of coarse, if she came to stand next to him, she’d be taller than the flutter and his twin. Her body was also thicker than his own delicate limbs. It was one of the main characteristics to flutters. And it was a little annoying being a male and being so fine featured. Oh well. Buckwheat lowered his head and pawed at his twin. “Do you know them?”
Brushfire gave another bored sigh. He was notorious for his dislike for girls and he wondered why his brother would even bother with the question. “No.” he answered. “Should I?”
Buckwheat gave him a frown. “You don’t have to get nasty…” He looked back up at the pegasus.
Brushfire stared at him, a sadistic little smile curling his muzzle. “If your so interested..” He pushed him forward with a headbutt. “Go talk to her.”
“Brushfire!” Buckwheat dug his hooves into the ground as best as he could to keep from being pushed. His brother started laughing at him. The flutter colt glared at his brother. “It’s not funny.”
Brushfire giggled, lying down on the floor, his own wings glittering the same as his twin's. “Yes it is! If you could have seen your face!”
Buckwheat continued to glare at his twin. “Since you are braver.” He growled. “You go!” He tried to push him forward but Brushfire took off into the air and his older twin fell flat on his face with a growl.
Hovering just above him, Brushfire continued to laugh. “Ha! Too slow.”

Rainbow Swirl heard the commotion, she dared a peak round the corner of the building. She felt something slide off her, then turned to see it was the shawl. AND there was someone standing behind her!!
'No need to hide those pretty wings, Princess'. The voice was cold and mysterious. As Swirl turned round fully, she sensed the pony's mood, and somehow knew who he was though she couldnt see him.
Tangled Vine watched the young one with intrest. Shed changed, a little. For one thing, because of his little spell you could see her wings. Right now she was frozen, not looking at him. He made a quick grab at her, barely flinching when she screamed. Well, he had to hand it to her, she knew what to do in an attack. Exept today wasnt her lucky day.
Swirl screamed as the pony made a grab for her, and tried to get out of the way. Nope, too late. Hed grabbed her already and was speaking some jibberish.
Tangled Vine finished his little spell, the filly wouldnt remember him later, but shed be able to fly. She wouldnt be able to leave the island though, because of another spell. Hed made sure she couldnt leave with spells, but all the same he took away the spell on her wings. She'd need to fly after all.
Suddenly the green pony vanished, leaving Swirl curled on the floor shaking. Shed fought against the spell, but only seemed to remember being grabbed at by some pony and then screaming, and hed gone. She got up gingerly, her long hair spilling like a waterfall over her neck and shoulders. Her legs felt a little weak from the ordeal. Swirl backed away from the back of the alley, but not entirely to the other end. She didnt think shed screamed loud, and hoped she hadnt. The little 5 year old took one look around the alley, then felt a strange feeling in her wings again. Her eyes were drawn to them.
The delicate fairy wings sparkled with magic almost. Swirl flapped them gently, and she hovered above the ground. NOW she could fly!!! At least that was good.
[[ OOC: Just in case your wondering, Tangled Vine put a spell on Swirl to prevent her from flying, and Swirl actually IS a princess, but not from this land. Tangled Vine has just put another spell on her, and one round the island so that Swirl wont remember anything but shes broken through that a bit, and the one round the island is that ponies come in but they cant go out. ]]

((yep))
FireLight looked at the boys. One of them looked back up at her. An ear-peircing scream cvered her ears. It wasn't very loud but it sounded like a terified pony. She took a glance around. Her eyes met no trouble but, where was Swirl. FireLight gasped and flew quickly around a corner, bashing straight into a hovering pony. She fell to the ground and rubbed her head then looked up at the pony "You can fly!" she cried, not too loud, noticing that it was Swirl.

The boys heard it too. Buckwheat's head snapped up. Brushfire was looking at him, questioning if he had heard it too. Indeed he head. Getting to his hooves, he and Brushfire flapped their way after the pegasus, following her into an alley. Brushfire was the first to reach the sight of the two girls hovering in the air, close to the ground. He nearly hit them, too, but dodged in a spiral before landing. Buckwheat came in seconds after his twin, landing quietly next to him.
"You can fly!" the pegasus suddenly cried.
Buckwheat and Brushfire stared at each other. She had wings, of course she could fly. They looked back at the girls, remembering the scream. Together, in unison, they asked, "Is everyone ok?"

Rainbow Swirl dropped to the ground softly, then saw the boys and heard their question. 'Yeah.' She looked at FireLight, her eyes had a look of asking her not to say anything. Then she said, looking back at the boys. 'I just, ran into something...'

Buckwheat and his brother looked on, wondering what she was referring to. A pony that puts curses on others just for the fun of it? Both twins looked at each other, curiously before returning their attention back to the girls. Brushfire stood behind his brother. He wasn't too keen on being around girls but the conversation interested him. Buckwheat, on the other hand, though shier than his twin, was more concerned about the girls well-being. He looked into her eyes with his own dark ones. "Are you sure you are...uh...ok?" he asked.

Swirl nodded, looking back. 'Yeah, im sure.' She replied. As she heard FireLight's comment, she went a little quiet, as if thinking.
